Types of therapy approach used

My therapeutic approach is dependent on the individual needs of the client. Each session is built on an interpersonal foundation and may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, or Emotion Focused Therapy as needed by the client. Marriage therapy incorporates the theories of Gottman, Worthington, and Sells. Child play therapy may include the use of sand tray, directed play therapy, as well as the utilization of art, music, and therapeutic games. Because of my personal relationship with Jesus Christ, each session is bathed in prayer and approached from a Biblical worldview and filter. However, this is my faith and will enter into the therapeutic relationship as much or as little as the client desires.
